Meeting Around Perpetual Vows for Spanish speaking members (Brs)

On December 15, at 7:30am the third meeting of “Around Perpetual Vows” for the Spanish speaking SSCC members was opened at the Vice-Provincial house of Colombia, in Bogotá.
The brothers of the Vice-Province of Colombia gave a hearty breakfast; accompanied by a presentation of traditional dances from the host country.
Then, at 10:00 am , the participants left the Vice-Provincial house to go to a "Buenos Aires" retreat house in Chinauta, a town about 120 kilometers south of Bogotá, with a pleasant climate and landscape; arriving at about midday. After settling into their rooms everyone gathered for a tasty lunch. At 15:30 the general program of the meeting was presented, followed by a round of presentation of each brother, highlighting the most significant of the training processes experienced, and each one’s expectations for the meeting.
The day finished with the inaugural Eucharistic celebration presided by Arley Guarin, the Viceprovincial of Colombia. He invited all to fine tune their senses in order to discover the specific ways God has been doing throughout their formation process. After a delicious dinner the various committees that have been formed went to their respective tasks.
The 11 brother participants are from five communities.
Peru : Franklin Astorga, Alex Brian, Alex Hernan Espinoza, Germán Huanca and Rufino Valeriano
Iberia: Fernando Bueno, Francisco Egea, Pablo Márquez
Colombia: Isaac Moreno
Mexico : Marco Antonio García
Chile : Rodrigo Quiroz

The meeting will conclude on January 4.
