From 2nd - 5th October, 2020 and despite the pandemic, the 7th meeting of our confreres' families took place in the Monastery of Christ the King in Polanica Zdrój. 18 people came from various parts of Poland. The meeting gave us an opportunity to get to know each other, to pray, to enjoy lovely evenings together and go sightseeing. On Saturday, 3rd October, we visited Mini Euroland where we were able to see miniature buildings not only from our own region, but also from all over the world - all surrounded by beautiful flower arrangements. In the afternoon while in Kamieniec Zabkowicki we were able to visit the palace of Princess Marianne of the Netherlands, a palace which delighted us with its elegance. In the evening there was an opportunity to celebrate mass and pray the rosary back in the monastery chapel. On Sunday, 4th October, in the morning, there was time for walks and Mass in the parish, and in the afternoon, a walk through Polanica to enjoy the beautiful attractions in the lovely autumn sun. We also visited the graves of our confreres in Stary Wielislaw. All participants of the meeting returned to their homes full of joy and resolved to come back next year.
