A meeting of the Masters of Novices(MN) organized by the GG is taking place at the General House in Rome, October 3 through 11. The eight MNs presently at work in the congregation are participating: Willy MPIA MAKILA, Province of Africa; Aurelio CAYÓN DÍAZ, Province of Ibérica; Alexis NAYAK, Region of India; Nikolaus BOT SYURA, Province of Indonesia; OSCAR JEGAUT, Province of Japan-Philippines; Ra?l PARIAMACHI FONSECA, Novitiate of CIAL, in PERU ; Radoslaw ZIEZIO, Province of Poland; Patrick FANNING, Province of the US.
Two brothers with a lot of experience in this area were also invited: Sandro MANCILLA who was MN in Chile and Ra?l VALVERDE who has been MN in Africa and Philippines; Pancras OLAK organized the event. Sr. Angela O’TOOTLE sscc and Felipe LAZCANO sscc are assisting as translators.
The objectives of the meeting are:
• To know one another and to share our experiences as MNs
• To inform each other on the plan for the Novitiate which each one has
• To identify some essential, important, and interesting elements which we will share in order that they can be incorporated into the plans and thus we can hold certain elements in common
• To study and reflect together on the Novitiate according to our Constitutions elaborating criteria which will be valid for the present moment and for novices whom we are receiving.
At present, there are 26 novices in the brother branch of the Congregation: 10 in Batam (Indonesia), 4 in Hawai’i (United States), 3 in Lima (CIAL),3 in Boane (Mozambique), 2 in Salamanca (Spain), 2 in Bhubaneswar (India) and 2 in Polanica (Poland).
