The "SSCC Associates SB" of Hawaii met on 13th January with Fr. Herman Gomes, Provincial of the USA. The meeting began with a time of adoration. After this, the associates gathered to listen to Fr. Herman, who gave his appreciation for the monthly financial support the Province receives for the sscc student brother in Fiji. Herman spoke about the sacramental nature of marriage and distributed some pamphlets on the charism and some SSCC medals, explaining the meaning of the crown of thorns that is so central a part of our emblem. Finally, there was some time of sharing together and giving gifts.
