The Constitutions Commission met in the retreat House St. Lorenzo de El Escorial, Madrid, Spain from the 9th to 13th June to continue the work of rewriting the Constitutions.
We incorporated the work done by the sisters and commissions on Chapter VI, Administration of Temporal Goods. Chapter V, on Government was completed, by incorporating what appears in the document of General Dispositions and Norms for the new organization of the Congregation. This chapter is ready to be sent out to the Congregation for a fresh revision.
As well as the intense programme of work, we had the opportunity to enjoy being with and sharing with the sisters of the El Escorial community who affectionately welcomed us. We likewise enjoyed the pleasant surprise of the visit of the sister of Our Lady of Peace community.
