The Conference of Europe and Africa Economes met in Polanica Zdroj from May 8-11, 2017. The participants are Zbigniew ZALEWSKI, (Poland), Raul VALVERDE (Africa), Alfred BELL (Germany), Javier OTAZU (Iberia), Christian FLOTTES (France), Fergal MAGUIRE (Ireland-Engalnd), Mr. Alex AARTS (Netherlands), Mr. Bart VERBESSELT (Flanders), along with Enrique Losada (CEA Coordinator) and Raja Sebastian (General Econome).
We studied the reports from each province looking at challenges and risks we are facing. We looked at the initial formation budget for Africa 2017-2018 arguing how to support continually the mission in Africa.
We had a pilgrimage together to the Divine Mercy and St. John Paul II shrine in Krakow. Finally, we had a meeting with the provincials discussing our challenges, sharing our mission with laypersons in economy, viewing possible investment together and addressing general plan to support the mission of the Congregation.
