The sisters of the General Government and the Superior Delegates of the Zones met in Rome from 15 to 19 April to discuss issues concerning the preparation of the 37th General Chapter 2024.
One of the important aspects was to share the experience of service during these 6 years, an activity that was carried out through a simple and fun dynamic. The organisation of the pre-capitular sessions, which will take place on line from 17 to 22 June, was reviewed and adjusted; the process of drawing up the reports of the Zones was discussed, among other things.
As a gesture of thanksgiving to the Sisters for their service over the years, the Eucharist was celebrated, presided over by Alberto Toutin sscc, Superior General, a delicious pizza was shared and two villages near Rome were visited, Nettuno, the birthplace of St. Maria Goretti, and Anzio, a beautiful bay, which was the birthplace of some Roman emperors.
The next meeting, on line, will be on 22 May.
