From 9-12 November 9 to 12, the General Government of the brothers spent a few days together in the house of the Franciscan Missionary Sisters of the Child Jesus, Assisi (Italy).
During this time they met and prayed daily, remembering in a particular way brothers in the Congregation who have been infected with COVID and those who had died on account of the disease. In a climate of great trust the brothers shared how each is doing and how in recent months each has coped with the impact of the pandemic. They also evaluated their work today and projected new lines for animation of the Congregation, taking into account this very complicated time of the pandemic. The aim of the General Government is to accompany the brothers and be close to them and what they are experiencing.
In addition to visiting the Franciscan places, they prayed at the tomb of the recently beatified Carlo Acutis, entrusting to him the work that is carried out with young people.
