From 2 to 5 June a meeting of the General Government of the SSCC Brothers took place in the very centrally located convent of the Sisters of the Institute of St. Joseph in Venice. In an atmosphere of conviviality and prayer, the members of the Government shared these questions: How is my inner self and my relationship with the Lord today? What do I receive as a treasure from the brothers of the General Government? What do I bring as a treasure to the General Government?
In addition, the brothers reviewed the tasks ahead regarding the General Chapter, and updated the schedule for the same. During their time in Venice, they were also able to celebrate the Eucharist and adoration, among other places, in the Cathedral of San Marco.
Alberto presented each councillor with a small icon each carrying a different image, wishing the brothers all the best in the new mission that the Lord has prepared for them. The who team thanks the Lord for these days in what is the final stretch of their time in service to the Congregation.
