From 20 to 23 June a meeting of the SSCC General Governments took place in Torricella in Sabina (Italy). In addition to a sharing of the events of the last few months in the life of the brothers and sisters of both teams, the theme of synodality was discussed. To this end, on the 21st June, the Jesuit, María Luisa Berzosa, consultant to the General Secretariat of the Synod and member of the Spirituality Commission, joined us to speak about synodal leadership and how to lead the future, employing different dynamics to show us how to deepen the service of authority in a synodal way.

On the 22nd of June, the Augustinian bishop Luis Marín de San Martín, under-secretary of the General Secretariat of the Synod, was present for the whole day. Luis dealt with synodality from the perspective of religious life and its challenges. He shared his experience as a member of the General Government of his order up to the time of his appointment as bishop. Throughout his presentation, he shared his experience of the synodal process and explained some of the elements that will be taken into account in the continental phase. At the end of the day, Monsignor Luis presided at the Eucharist.
On 23 June, brothers and sisters met to deal with some questions about the agenda, the preparation of some future joint events and for an evaluation of the meeting. The whole experience encouraged them to continue in the service entrusted to them by the Congregation.
