The end of February marks the end of summer in the southern hemisphere, and in Peru it is time for children to go back to school again. This new academic year, the College of SSCC Recoleta in Monterrico, Lima has 20 new teachers, who on the 27th of February made a visit to the original site of the school, in Plaza Francia, where they received a historical orientation from Fr. Juan Luis Schuester sscc on the Congregation that has contributed to the growth of the nation for more than 100 years.
On Monday the 2nd of March 2015, the new academic year was officially inaugurated by Mrs Pamela Olano de Cieza, the director of the college, and the Eucharist was concelebrated by the Sacred Hearts priests: Pedro Vidarte (main celebrant), Paulino Colque Ccori, José Serrand, Lucio Colque Quispe, and Remi Liando.
May God bless the effort of all the teachers and staffs of the College to build a country and a world ever more just and fraternal through the formation of young leaders who are critical, creative and caring.
