From the 21st to the 31st of October we will have the meeting of the new Major Superiors (see 37th General Chapter, Service of Authority 4).
Those who have been elected in the last two years will participate; Bill Petrie (USA-East), Yohanes Antun Wardoyo (Indonesia), Andrzej Lukawski (Poland), Miguel Ortega (Colombia), Raúl Pariamachi (Peru), Eribaldo Pereira (Brazil), Ángel Cervantes (Mexico) André Lerenard (France) William Tepa (French Polynesia), Camille Sapu (Africa) and David de la Torre (Ecuador). Alphonse Fraboulet will help for translations.
The meeting has an especially formative character and also endeavors to favor an interaction between Superiors and the General Government. The principal topics to be dealt with are: a vision of the Congregation, the art of governing, the functions of the Major Superior, juridical matters, archive and the office of secretary, treasury.
During the meeting we will spend two days together with the Government of the sisters and the Major Superiors also meeting in Rome on the same dates.
