On Saturday, 18 July, the second round of elections for the new councilors of the province of Chile-Argentina for the period 2020-2023 took place.
With the participation of 35 brothers out of a total of 38 with the right to vote, the following were elected as new Provincial Councillors: Nicolás Viel ss.cc; Magín Vega ss.cc and Cristian Sandoval ss.cc. These brothers, together with Nelson Rivera ss.cc, who was appointed by the Provincial, René Cabezón sscc, as provided by the Provincial Statutes, will assume their new responsibility from the 1st October of this year until the 30th September 2023.

In spite of the fact that there are still some months to go, as a Congregation we thank Matías Valenzuela, Eduardo Pérez Cotapos and Sandro Mancilla, for their availability, dedication and great work during these three years of Provincial Government.
At the same time, we congratulate Nicolás, Magín and Cristián for accepting this new challenge. We are sure that these will be years of hard work carried out with hope and faith as they do what they can to ensure the advance of a new Church for all.
