On 28 December 2014, during the XVI Provincial Chapter held at the retreat house of San Lorenzo de El Escorial-Madrid, Nuria Arias has been re-elected Provincial Superior of the Province of Spain. The election was preceded by an evening of reflection and retreat animated by our brother Enrique Losada, Provincial of Ibérica.
On 29 December, after being confirmed by the Superior General and her Council, the Chapter proceeded to the election of the Provincial Councilors, where Maria Vidal and Nuria Lobo were elected.
At the Chapter, besides the capitulants, were also present Emperatriz Arrobo (Superior General), Gregoria Marín (general councilor), Enrique Losada (provincial of the Iberian Province), Jeanne Cadiou (provincial of France – Quebec), and Colette Buhangize, as coordinator of the Delegation of Africa, who was a member by right. Among other themes, the chapter was working on the proposal of the "New Face of the Province of Spain".
