On 2 March 2023, Alicia Mamani (Peru), Martina Barrios (Paraguay) and Rocío Pilar Guerrero (Ecuador) arrived in Puerto Maldonado, in the Amazon jungle of Peru, to start the itinerant Community of the Latin America Zone.
Puerto Maldonado belongs to the Vicariate of Madre de Dios and the sisters will support the projects of the Diocese concerning the accompaniment of the indigenous communities of the place. They will soon receive the visit of Monica Jimenez, Delegate Superior of the Zone.
