From February 17 to 19, the emblematic Monastery of Montserrat—currently celebrating its millennium—was the setting for the 20th Diocesan Ongoing formation and Spirituality Days of the Diocese of Sant Feliu de Llobregat (Barcelona).
During these days, our brother Fernando Cordero was a speaker, addressing the topic "The Hope Brought by the Synod", fostering a valuable exchange of ideas and experiences among the priests and deacons of the diocese, in the presence of the diocesan bishop, Fr. Xabier Gómez OP. They also reflected on the story of a priest in crisis and how to face different challenges through a strong priestly fraternity.
Additionally, the participants had the opportunity to share in monastic life at the monastery's guesthouse and immerse themselves in the liturgy of the Benedictine community, which recently inaugurated an innovative "immersive space." This cutting-edge initiative uses the latest technologies to bring visitors closer to the history of the monastery and the life of the monks.
