Today July 15, opened the ss.cc missionary week, in view of the World Youth Day in Rio de Janeiro. In the morning, the Provincial Superior of Brazil, Vinicius Maciel sscc, made ??an opening speech thanking all the young people who came from different places where the Congregation is present (Brazil, France, Chile, Paraguay, Peru, Ecuador). There are about 500 young people participating in the ss.cc. mission week.
In addition to these young people, there is a strong involvement of the brothers and sisters of the Congregation. We ended the day with a meal made by parishioners of "Sacred Hearts Parish”, known as " Fr. Eustaquio´s parish” in Belo Horizonte.
In the afternoon there was a meeting to give some instructions and distribute the "kit" to each participant. Then there was a moment of prayer in the Church of Father Eustaquio.
At night, we had two important moments: the Mass and the feast. These two moments were shared also with great joy. Youth participated wholeheartedly. On Tuesday July 16th is the day scheduled to go to Patrocinio.
