The various presences of the Congregation in Brazil have been very active in the days leading up to the liturgical celebration of Blessed Eustaquio. In Belo Horizonte, the first International Symposium on Health and Peace will be held around the feast of the Blessed. In Patrocínio, a city that the Blessed visited several times, a car caravan was held on Saturday, August 23, traveling from the Parish of Damian of Molokai to the site where a temple dedicated to Blessed Eustaquio will be built. More than one hundred people participated in this caravan, traveling through the main streets of the city, arousing the interest of residents and the media. The entire city was able to hear the hymn of Blessed Eustaquio or the song of Health and Peace.
At the end of the caravan, the blessing of the cross placed on the land where the construction of the temple dedicated to the Blessed will soon begin took place. This land was donated years ago by several families close to the Congregation. The design of the temple will be identical to that of the Health and Peace sanctuary in Belo Horizonte, which was designed by Fr. Eustaquio himself, although this one in Patrocínio will be smaller. Many of the attendees, some from the secular branch, wore t-shirts of Blessed Eustaquio.
