On Saturday, 23 November, the feast of the Good Mother, our brothers Benjamin Kabombo sscc and Remy Ebala sscc, of the Province of Africa, made their perpetual vows in the Parish of the Sacred Hearts in Seville (Spain). The ceremony took place within the Eucharist which was enriched by Congolese rhythms and songs and presided over by the Provincial Superior of the Iberian Province, Pedro Miguel Gordillo sscc. The newly perpetually professed have been undertaking a formative and pastoral experience in the Iberian Province, in the communities of Jerez de la Frontera and Seville respectively. In his homily Pedro emphasised, among other points, how our brothers are giving a "yes" which, like Mary, is made concrete in a project, and he also encouraged them to "burn with zeal for the Lord". In their thanksgiving, the brothers thanked the brothers, sisters and lay people for “the affection and accompaniment" of those who have accompanied them along the way.
