On Saturday, 28th November, Pablo Bernal Rubio made his perpetual religious profession in the Sacred Hearts Parish in Seville (Spain). The Eucharist was presided over by Aurelio Cayon, Provincial Superior. Due to the pandemic, Pablo's family could only follow the ceremony through Youtube, as did many others who did not want to miss this special celebration. In his final words, our brother gave thanks for the Congregation, for the Founders, for Damien and for the mission of the Congregation "which tries to make the world a little more like one might dream it to be". He described the brothers, sisters and each member of the Secular Branch as the "charism incarnate". He gave thanks for his parents, his brothers and his grandparents and for all the places he had lived in during his ten years in the Congregation. He had a special word for Beatriz García Comyn, who made her profession last Saturday in Madrid. Finally, and above all, he gave thanks for "a Jesus who is living, close and real, with tenderness in his eyes, character in his voice and strength in his outstretched hands.
