Preparation of Final Vows 2018 in the Philippines begins (Brs)

On Sunday, the 1st day of July 2018, the community of brothers who are preparing for their Perpetual Profession officially initiated the program. They will undergo a six-month formation program here in Cainta Philippines. This program was not only to prepare all the candidates for their final profession, but also to form them well as religious who are grounded to our SSCC spirituality and charism.

It was indeed a day of celebration. The entrance ritual for the Mass started with the Tahitian dance of life. All the six candidates: Agustinus Triyanto (Indonesia), Alphonse Tua Jr. (Tahiti), Shenli Mario Angelo (Indonesia), Thomas Waluyo (Indonesia), Jose Marie Dumagat (Philippines), Don Brian Malnegro (Japan), danced gracefully as they shouted loudly the dance of life.

The Mass was presided by Fr. Pankras Olak Kraeng (Rome), concelebrated by Fr. Patrisius Breket (Indonesia), Fr. Jovy Garcia (Philippines), and Fr. Oscar Jaguat( Indonesia). It was held at the garage area which served as the chapel on that day.

It was a wonderful day because friends and benefactors of the Congregation were present. The celebration would not be complete without the presence of our SSCC sisters from Kamuning community. A dinner feast was next in the program. Everyone was filled with the spirit of celebration, an opportunity to bond not only among us brothers but also with our religious sisters, benefactors and friends. The program culminated with a song in honor to the Blessed Virgin Mary.
