During the mid-year retreat of the brothers of the Colombia Zone of the Andean Province, on June 25th, our brother Oliver Sevilla sscc received the ministry of lector during a Eucharistic celebration presided over by our brother Elí Perdomo sscc, in which all the brothers from Colombia participated.
This significant moment made it possible to recognize that the ministry of lector is not limited solely to the proclamation of the Word of God, but also implies welcoming it, living it, and bearing witness to it in daily life. The celebration was an occasion of joy and thanksgiving for the entire community.
