The 4th Provincial Chapter of Africa was held in Boane (Mozambique) from July 18th to 24th. There were 14 capitulants from the communities of Kinshasa and Mozambique. Paul Lejeune helped with moderating the Chapter. Goyi Marín, Provincial Superior of the Sisters, the Superior General and Eduardo Pérez-Cotapos, General Councillor, were also present.
The Provincial Chapter elected the new Provincial Government: Camille Sapu (re-elected as provincial), Willy Mpia (vicar), Franck Kanyinda, Germán Fresán and André Kibeti (councillors). André Kibeti is not in the picture because he was not capitular and he was in Kinshasa.
The SS.CC. Sisters and some lay people participated in the final Eucharist. Sr. Rosa Ferreiro, General Superior of the Sisters was also present. In fact the Sisters of the Province of Africa will begin their Chapter on Monday, July 26th in Boane.
