Provincial Councilors of Japan-Philippines (Brs)

The Provincial Chapter of the Japan-Philippines, which is being held in Tomobe (Japan), on October 23 has chosen the three provincial councilors who, together with the provincial Kenji Honma, constitute the Provincial Government for the next three years.

The councilors are: William Donegan (provincial vicar), Abraham Aguinaldo (known as Bambi), and Franciscus Xaverius Sri Waluyo. The latter had to be contacted by telephone to inquire about his acceptance, because at this time he is taking a sabbatical leave in a hermitage in Ireland. The four brothers who make up the government are from different countries: Japan, Ireland, Philippines and Indonesia; which testifies to the cultural diversity of the Province.
