Recognition of the martyrdom of Ladislas Radigue and companions (Vatican)

On 25 November, the promulgation of decrees of the Congregation for the Causes of Saints was published In the daily bulletin of the Holy See Press Office.  Here is an excerpt of the text of the promulgation:

"During the Audience granted to His Most Reverend Eminence Cardinal Marcello Semeraro, Prefect of the Congregation for the Causes of Saints, the Supreme Pontiff authorised the same Congregation to promulgate the Decrees concerning  ...

- the martyrdom of the Servants of God Henri Planchart, professed priest of the Institute of Religious of St. Vincent de Paul and Ladislas Radigue and his 3 companions, who were professed priests of the Congregation of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary, and of Perpetual Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament; all were killed in hatred of the faith on 26 May 1871 in Paris (France)".

We thank God for this joyful event for the Church and for the Congregation. We are waiting for the date and place for the beatification to be fixed.
