The 9th Regional Assembly 2015 was held at St. Vincent’s Retreat Centre, Gopalpur-on-Sea (Odisha). The Assembly spanned the 16th through the 18th of June. All the professed brothers in the Region were present. Fr. Subal Francis (Tonga) was able to be with us. However, wishes and goodwill came, through e-mails and phone calls, from other brothers out working in the wider Province.
The cool and conducive weather helped to focus our minds on the Ten-Year Strategic Plan. This Plan is laid out to strengthen Socio-Pastoral Mission, Vocation work, Initial Formation, Finance and Ongoing Formation of the brothers. We came up with some concrete and feasible goals and objectives to be fulfilled by 2025, when the Region will be celebrating its Golden Jubilee.

Bro. Richard Kupo, ss,cc., the Provincial Councilor, represented the Provincial Government. His guiding presence helped us to keep on track on all fronts. The Assembly ended with an encouraging note from Bro. Richard who wished all the very best for the efforts being made and implored God’s blessing that our plan may come to fruition in due time.
