The relics of Saint Padre Pio were in the mother house of the Polish province, which is now also the Sanctuary of the Virgin of Fatima.
This year is the Jubilee Year of Padre Pio. It is celebrated the 50th anniversary of his death and the centenary of the appearance of his stigmata on his hands, feet and side. On this occasion the relics of the saint are going through different parts of Europe. On the days of the 18th and 19th they arrived at the Christus Rex house and Sanctuary of Fatima, which is located on the land of the SSCC community.
These two days were a great moment of prayer, adoration, celebration of the sacrament of reconciliation and Eucharistic celebrations. The central event was the Eucharistic celebration celebrated by the diocesan bishop Ingacy Dec.
From our sanctuary the relics of Padre Pio will pilgrim to Prague (Czech Republic) and then to Budapest (Hungary).
