The sscc brothers in Japan have just completed their annual retreat, which took place from 23 - 27 September at the sscc monastery in Tomobe. The retreat was given by Fr. David Lavich, Trappist. Father Lavich was a sscc missionary in Japan many years ago having found his vocation in monastic life, with the result that he left the Congregation and joined the Trappists. All the brothers were grateful for the spiritual insights that he shared with them during the retreat.
