A few days ago, the construction of a new building for the San Damián of Molokai School was completed. The work began in February 2019.
The new building of 916 m2 has 3 floors, a basement, bathrooms and changing rooms for the school community. It will also have offices and rooms for auxiliary staff, 2 classrooms and 2 multipurpose laboratories.
During the course of the work, a fourth floor was added to the new building, with the aim of creating a ceremony hall in the future. This will add another 245 m2 to the work as a whole.
The new work will be ready for when the authorities decide on the date for a return to normal face-to-face classes.
