The government of the Zone Europe- Africa held its second face to face meeting from the 8th to 12th January in Poitiers. It is a source of joy for any member of the Congregation to return to the birth place of the Congregation and, for us there was the added joy of being with the community of sisters in Poitiers and visiting the older sisters now beautifully installed in their rooms in the new wing of the EPHAD which was just recently finished.
At our meeting over several days, we were able to make good use our time together as a government to share at length. We spent some time reflecting on our short experience of being in government together, of getting to know each other and helping each other to adopt a new mindset as we grow into the new congregational structure.
Having almost a week together enabled us to take the time to discuss at length the realities of our territories, reflect on some special situations that needed attention, plan upcoming meetings and deal with the normal business that arises in the Zone.
