Our brother Valentinus (Valent) Ritan sscc has just successfully completed his course of studies at the Loyola Faculty in Paris.
He has brilliantly obtained his Canonical License in Theology, with a specialization in Spiritual Theology: a theological journey in listening to the poor. Among the highlights of his formation is the writing and defense of his thesis entitled: "The Prayer of the Poorest, a School of Hope."
In the report I received from Christophe Pichon, director of the second cycle at the Faculty, it is specified that the examination board made a point of emphasizing that Valent’s work “is coherently structured and very well founded. Valent approaches spiritual theology from lived experience. He is encouraged to continue deepening his theological knowledge through the reading of theologians. These readings could also provide an opportunity for collaborative work with others. Overall, his work shows a serious personal commitment to the formation process.”
