The SSCC Missions 2026 concluded after an intense week of encounter in the area of the Holy Spirit Chapel, within the Parish of Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Cañete. Through door-to-door visits, community gatherings, formation spaces, and liturgical celebrations, the missionary team accompanied families and communities marked by a complex social context, strengthening faith and community life.
Parish priest Gilberto Matus highlighted the mission as a sign of renewal and consolation, especially valuing the joint work of priests and lay people. The experience, which included the participation of young people and adults accompanied by SSCC brothers, has already borne its first fruits in increased community participation and the projection of future pastoral actions in response to identified needs.
