SSCC online

Various initiatives are being carried out, at an increasing level, in different places where the Congregation is on account of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Daily online masses have begun in the sscc community attached to the Martín de los Heros School (Madrid) and in the SSCC Parish in Guaynabo (Puerto Rico). In Seville, the community of the SSCC San José School and Parish sent out a message to the parish and educational community through social networks, marking the occasion of the solemnity of St Joseph. Similarly, in the Parish of San José de La Unión (Chile), the Eucharist was transmitted on line, with Miguel Ángel Concha, the pastor, presiding.  In Belo Horizonte, Vinicius Maciel, the vice postulator for the cause of Blessed Eustaquio, has opened up the sanctuary for these days.  In La Concordia (Ecuador), the sscc community is leading the Angelus prayer through Facebook.  In Santiago, Chile, Pedro León will celebrate the Eucharist this Sunday on the Province YouTube channel, from the CIE postulancy house (International Student Community).

The communities of the brothers of France are keeping in daily contact through their email group.

On Facebook, there is also the testimony given by Noemí García sscc, regarding her work with homeless people, sending a message of hope.  The SSCC community of Torrelavega is also offering hope and listening via a Whatsapp group to those who feel alone Others are encouraged to write letters to people who are isolated at this time because of Coronavirus.

In many places the Eucharist continues to be celebrated daily, without connection to any screen, but still prayers are offered for all the people who are suffering the consequences of this disease.
