SSCC Philippines is growing (Brs & Srs)

Two major events have marked these days the life of SSCC Brothers and Sisters who live and serve in the Philippines.

On Thursday, May 9, 2013, the diocesan Bishop of Novaliches, Antonio Tobias, has entrusted the ministry of the diaconate to Filipino brother Jovy Garcia (36) in the parish seat of The Resurrection of the Lord, in Bagong Silang.

The next day, Friday May 10, in the same parish that is served by our Congregation, the Indonesian sister Fransiska Triani (26) and the Filipino brother Jose Marie Dumagat (28) professed their first vows for three years. These vows were received by Sister Ratna Kumalasari, member of the Asian Project team of the sisters, and the provincial of the brothers of Japan-Philippines, John Yamada.

The homily at the Mass of the profession was given by William Donegan sscc who also presided it. Willy came from Japan to conduct a retreat for the preparation of the profession and to the novices of this year.
