On Saturday, 26 July 2014, during the evening Eucharist at 6 pm, the young Patrícia Gonçalves Sofia Calado made her commitments as a member of SSCC Secular Branch.
Fr. Luis Manuel Alvarez Garcia sscc was the main celebrant, and Fr. João de Brito Almeida Atanásio sscc, as concelebrant. Also present was Br Manuel Dutra sscc.
The letter of Fr. Enrique Losada sscc, Provincial of the Iberian Province, was read, and soon after, in a very moving way, Patricia delivered her commitments. There was an imposition of the "Cross Congregation" on Patricia.
Then the other three other lay SSCC members, Marisa, Maria José and Guida, renewed their commitments. Their family members were present. At the end of the Mass, the four members signed the Act of Commitments.
The great joy was extended into the fellowship dinner at the local restaurant, to which the families and SSCC Community were invited. After dinner, there was a slide presentation on the history of SSCC Secular Branch in Lisbon.
