The “Spiritual Journey” began in 2010 and was intended to be a formative experience for lay people, which in principle would last four years, but in reality it has become transformed into an ongoing formation experience which includes accompaniment by the sscc brothers, a reflection of the faith and the cultivation of the spiritual life and personal knowledge.
A meeting of sscc lay people who had earlier participated in the Spiritual Journey for lay people” took place from 6 to 8 January, 2023. They once again met at the Shrine of Los Andes to share life and faith. Walkers from Diego de Almagro, Viña del Mar, Paraíso and Concepción attended.
The coordinator of this formation experience is Alex Vigueras sscc, who was very happy with the reunion: "I believe very much in the spiritual journey, as a formative programme that touches the very diverse dimensions of the human person, the different faith levels and the psychology of community".
The meeting lasted three days during which various topics were discussed. Some of the topics were led by specialists in emotional and faith issues. What was most appreciated by the more than 35 participants was the opportunity to get to know each other and to share experiences.
