At a gathering held on November 29 at Casa Macul, youth and pastoral leaders from various SSCC ministries met to outline the future of pastoral work and engage in dialogue with Provincial Sandro Mancilla sscc, who presented the main conclusions of the XXI Provincial Chapter.
The day, marked by an atmosphere of sincere dialogue and community building, allowed participants to evaluate the year’s work, review the learnings of each community, and delve deeper into the proposals emerging from the SSCC Youth Congress held in August.
During the presentation, the Provincial highlighted the importance of the youth contribution and announced that the five key areas prioritized after the Congress—Identity, Self-love and Self-esteem; Interpersonal Relationships; Diversity and Gender; Mental and Emotional Health; and Justice and Society—were approved and will be implemented through 2028. Participants appreciated that their ideas were considered and transformed into concrete guidelines for the Congregation, reaffirming a path of intergenerational collaboration. The day concluded with a Eucharistic celebration in an atmosphere of mission and hope.
