Testimony from the Philippines (Brs & Srs)

Agustinus Triyanto, sscc, who made his final profession in the Philippines, shares with us his the highlights of the days leading up to his profession.

“BE A WITNESS OF THE JOY

TO BE CONSECRATED PERSON”

From 29th October to 29 November, 2018 the six month preparation for the perpetual vows made a thirty days in Sacred Heart Retreat House and Seminar Center at Novalices, Philippines. We have opportunity to journey in our life’s vocation with spiritual exercises of St. Ignatius. In this thirty days retreat we are able to know better about our strength and our weaknesses. Through our intimate times with Jesus Christ, we are able to go to our inner life in saying yes, as well as the confirmation of our first vows to be a full member of SS.CC congregation. As a religious person we are all invited by Jesus to be a witness of joy as well as a consecrated person. And we finally said “Lord here I am, Sen me” (Isaiah 6, 8-13).

On 15th December, at St. Oscar Romero Quasi Parish, Cainta, Rizal, Philippines, five brothers and sister make a perpetual vows. Bro. Agustinus Triyanto, SSCC (Bro. Tino), Bro. Shenli Mario Angelo, SSCC (Bro. Shenli), and Bro. Thomas Waluyo, SSCC (Bro. Tom-tom) from Indonesia-Singapore Province, Bro. Jose Marie Dumagat, SS.CC (Bro. JM), and Bro. Don Brian Malnegro, SSCC (Bro. Don) from Japan-Philippines province, and Sr. Ellen G. Buyuccan, SSCC (Sr. Ellen) from Region of Asia.

The Eucharist presided by Fr. Bonifasius Payong, SSCC provincial of Indonesia-Singapore Province, the con-celebrate Fr. Kenji Hunma, SSCC provincial of Japan-Philippines Province, Fr. Pankarsius Olak, SSCC, the homilist, and Fr. Patrisius Breket Mudaj, SS.CC the coordinator team of formator for the preparation of the final vows programs. In this Eucharist was present Sr. Patricia Villarroel, SSCC Superior General of the sisters, Sr. Aurora Laguarda and Sr. Brigette Falahee, SS.CC the formator for the sister, and the present of the brothers-sisters of SS.CC Congregation, and relative families, friends, also parishioners.

In the sermon, we are all invited to contemplate, live, and bear fruit (John 15, 1-17). As well as the religious person, we have to build our inner relationship to God to let His will happen in our life and share God’s love first to our community, and finally we are all able to be a witness of Joy as a consecrated person.
