On 13th July, the President of Chile, Gabriel Boric, visited a number of communities of the parish of Jesus Christ the Missionary in Reñaca Alto, staffed by the religious of the Sacred Hearts. He went to some of the high altitude communities, including the chapel of San Alberto Hurtado in Cerro La Cruz. It was a surprise visit and without the media. The president was accompanied by the Catholic chaplain of La Moneda, Fr. Nicolás Viel sscc.
