The "SSCC Ministries Seminar" of Asia and French Polynesia is going on at the OASE Center in Batam, (the SSCC Province of Indonesia)June 30 through July 6. This is a study seminar held every six years more or less. For this particular seminar there are 12 sisters and 29 brothers present. The Superior General,Javier Álvarez-Ossorio is also present.
The seminar began with a day of retreat led by Martin Irawan sscc. The following day Father Priyono SJ presented on his missionary experience. Javier for his part presented some orientations of the Congregation for goals and concrete actions (ministries) emerging from our grasp of our MISSION. There will follow presentations from each country on the diverse works of the sisters and brothers. The goal is to come to orientations for the future, leading to concrete commitments of the sscc in this part of the world.
