Jean-Yves-Marie Tourbin is a Christian singer who made his debut in 1985: "The Triumph of the Cross". In his album "La dernière place" ("The last place") he dedicates a song to Father Damien, among other saints. It is appropriate music for the oncoming feast of All Saints.
Tourbin's works, all in French (except one in English), are inspired by his Catholic faith. Like St. Louis Marie Grignon de Montfort, to whom he also sings, Jean-Yves-Marie Tourbin added Mary to his name.
His faith is the result of his conversion at the age of 34, a conversion inspired by a reading the lives of the saints. With talent and fervor, he reminds us of the importance of conversion and love.
