Visit of the new archbishop of Paris, Bishop Michel Aupetit, to Picpus

On the morning of Wednesday, March 14, Picpus received Mons. Michel Aupetit, archbishop of Paris for the first time since January 6, 2018. It was his first visit as archbishop, because as he recalled at the beginning of the celebration, when he was Vicar General of the Sector, had already come several times.

Meeting the young people of the current promotion of the St. Augustine House, of the diocese of Paris, was the main reason for his visit. The SSCC communities had been invited to the mass at 12 noon, at the end of which they could spend some time with him and take some photos.

It can be said that he was in familiar territory, because he knew practically everyone, at least among the brothers. Unfortunately, Alphonse Fraboulet and Christian Flottes were out of town.

In the photo with the brothers, two faces less known to the Congregation: Fr. Gerard Pelletier, Superior of St. Augustine House (left wing) and Fr. J. François Brard, one of his assistants (in white).
