After the visit to Mozambique, Patricia Villarroel, Superior General and Goyi Marín, Councillor, visited the communities in Kinshasa. In the three communities they met the sisters and visited the works. As well as these meetings, they had an opportunity to meet with the 8 sisters in temporary vows and the 9 postulants. The visit began in Father Damien community and continued in the Boboto community where the Postulants’ house is and they finished the visit in the Nzo ya Ngemba community. Patricia and Goyi also visited the three communities of our ss.cc brothers. On Friday evening, the Feast of the Sacred Heart, they celebrated the Eucharist with the sisters of the three communities, the postulants and the sisters who had arrived from Spain, Belgium and Mozambique. It was a joyful celebration. The Eucharist, presided over by our brother Franck Kanyinda, continued with a meal and an African dance. It was an informal visit, a time of grace and a time of drawing closer to this young reality which is full of life.
