The program Cruzando Fronteras joins the commemoration of the centenary of the arrival of the Congregation of the Sacred Hearts and Father Eustaquio van Lieshout sscc in Brazil, an emblematic figure known as the apostle of health and peace.
In this special edition, the program offers a report exploring the life and current relevance of Blessed Eustaquio, featuring an interview with Vinicius Maciel sscc, vice-postulator of the canonization cause. Through his words, and with the collaboration of prominent voices of the Congregation, the portrait of a pastor devoted to his people is drawn.
Among those participating in this tribute are Osvânio Mariano sscc (provincial), Edmar Aparecido de Oliveira sscc (rector of the Shrine of Health and Peace), Alberto Toutin sscc (Superior General), Leonor Chávez sscc (Provincial Superior), Kevin Kupe (SSCC religious and director of the Our Lady of Peace School in Kinshasa), Brian Malnegro (SSCC missionary in Japan), Edvaldo Carneiro sscc (formator), Gerarlo Ribeiro sscc (parish priest of St. Damien of Molokai in Patrocinio), and Alexandre de Campos Leite (SSCC religious at the Shrine of Our Lady of Abadia).
