On the 15th of June 2012 that falls on the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, five members of the Indonesian Province were ordained to priesthood. These are: Barnabas Yosep Rianghepat, Lukas Taruna Boy Sitepu, siprianus Smakur Tukan, Tangkas Dame simatupang, and Johanes Budiyanto.
“I am the vine, you are the branches,” was the theme for the ordination that they all wished to live by in their ministry.
The ordination took place in the Parish of Saint Odilia, in the Archdiocese of Jakarta, by Mgr. Ignatius Suharyo, Pr. In his sermon, the Archbishop of Jakarta expressed his wish that the newly ordained will continue to get the source of their strength from Christ, because Christ is the spring of living water that never runs out. They need to smelt like Christ and receive strength from Christ.
