At the invitation of Marcus Vinicius Maciel, the vice-postulator for the cause of canonization of blessed Father Eustaquio, Fr. Andrzej Lukawski visited Brazil from 23-31 August. The occasion for the visit was to participate in the annual celebration of the liturgical commemoration of Blessed Eustaquio’s feast day, which falls on August 30, and to join in the novena that precedes it.
During this visit, thanks to the kindness of the Brazilian Brothers, Andrzej was able to visit some places related to the ministry of Fr. Eustaquio, such as Poá in the state of Saõ Paulo. The reason for the visit was also to discuss, inter alia, matters related to the development of the cult of Blessed Eustaquio in the context of his canonization, for which a miracle attributed to the intercession of the Missionary of "Health and Peace" is indispensable.
