The Conference of Asia and French Polynesia (CAP) is holding its triennial meeting at St. Scholastica Retreat Centre, Tagaytay (Philippines) from 19 to 21 July.
Participate Bonie Payong and Budiyanto (Indonesia), Sudhir Nayak and Santhosh Thottankara (India), William Tepa (French Polynesia), Kenji Homma, William Donegan and Bambi Aguinaldo (Japan-Philippines), Ratna Kumalasari (PPC Asia sisters), and Javier Álvarez-Ossorio (Superior General).
The main topics of the meeting are: presentation of the reality of the communities; performance evaluation of commissions: Initial Formation, Continuing Education and Finances; implementation of the guidelines of the "Ministry Seminar" 2015; suggestions for the preparation of the General Chapter of 2018; and proposing commission coordinators.
On July 21, in the afternoon, the Executive of the CAP, formed only by the superiors of the four communities (India, Indonesia, Japan-Philippines and French Polynesia) along with the Superior General will meet. Among other things, the Executive elect a coordinator and vice-coordinator of the CAP.
