The sisters of Paraguay have been blessed by the Lord with a beautiful, profound and renewing spiritual retreat accompanied by our sister Patricia Villarroel, superior general, from the 25th to the 29th of January.
These were intense days of encounter with our God, with his Word, remembering, from his merciful gaze, all that we have lived during the year; contemplating Jesus who invites us to renew each day with fervour and passion our following of Him in the service of the Kingdom, personally and as a community.
On the last day, we closed the retreat with an emotional celebration where we renewed our vows and our consecration to the Sacred Hearts in whose service we want to live and die. We also had the joy of witnessing the missionary sending under the protection of Our Lady Queen of Peace, of our sister Martina Barrios, who is destined for the new community in Puerto Maldonado, in the Amazonian jungle of Peru.
We thank Patricia for these days that have helped us to reencounter ourselves, also as sisters and with God who calls us, as a community, to be prophecy and foretaste of the Kingdom for today's world.
