News on Formation in Africa (Brs & Srs)

The community of Boane received three candidates into the novitiate on Saturday, 4 January 2014: Alain MAKANDA, Hervé KAMBA and Léon NGALAMULUME. The ceremony was presided by Father Jean-Blaise MWANDA, Provincial Superior. It was a brief ceremony, rich and inspired by the ritual of the Congregation's religious profession. Brothers and sisters from the Mozambique zone who were in the city for a meeting were also present in this occasion.

On 5 January, the Feast of the Epiphany of the Lord, four novices made their first religious profession in the parish of Blessed Clementine Anuarite in Boane; these are brother Expedit Ben KUMONGO and three sisters, Georgette MÜNZEMarie-Jeanne MUZUMI and Rachel MUPEPE.

In his homily for the occasion, Father Jean-Blaise invited all to reflect on their vocations by linking the Epiphany and religious life. Through the three wise men, God teaches us the dimension of faith and perseverance in following Christ. Through the many difficulties, the three Magi did not get tired of looking for the truth.

After the religious celebration, a glass of wine was shared with fraternal joy. A play presented by the youth of the parish and some music adds in to atmosphere of conviviality. To God be praise and glory for having allowed this to happen.
