From September 3 to 13, in Bandung, Indonesia, the second Congregation Council of this period 2018 - 2024 is being held. Eighteen sisters are participating, representing each of the Territories and Zones, Economy and Initial Formation. Also, Sister Angel Yu as a guest. The Council has the secretary of minutes, Patricia Nurimarna; and the translators: Norma Naula sscc, Katherine Francis Miller sscc and Felipe Lazcano sscc. In addition, a logistics team made up of sisters, brothers and lay sscc who have been facilitating all the details prior to the meeting and now.
The morning of Sunday, September 3, began with a reflection on vulnerability, 'Paths and itineraries that we can make', animated by Cristina Naranjo sscc, facilitator of the Encounter. In the afternoon, the Sisters and Brothers sscc, who are also celebrating the Enlarged Council on these same dates and place, celebrated the opening Eucharist, which was presided over by Pankras Olak sscc, provincial of Indonesia. This was followed by a moment of joint integration, animated by Goyi Marin sscc and Jean Blaise Mwanda sscc. At the end of the afternoon, a special Indonesian rite of welcome was held, followed by dinner.
Following the proposed schedule, Monday's sessions were dedicated to the Constitutions. The General Government remembered the journey made since 2011, during which time there have been two commissions to work on them, with the participation of all the sisters of the Congregation; he shared the process of collecting the contributions received from the territories on the Project of the Constitutions and presented the Proposal to work on the contents on which there is disagreement (See the News).
The work in groups, by languages, and the sharing in common took place in the afternoon session and the first one on Tuesday.
It is clear to us that, for the writing of the new Constitutions, we must have an approved Structure.
